How to make ghostly banana pops
You only need a few ingredients to make these cutr “boo”-nana pops!
- Prepare the bananas: Peel the bananas and slice them in half crosswise. Insert a popsicle stick into the cut end of each banana half. Place them on a parchment-lined tray and freeze until solid, about 2 hours.
- Make the yogurt coating: In a small bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, vanilla extract, and honey until smooth. Transfer the yogurt mixture to a tall glass to make dipping easier.
- Melt the chocolate: Place the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 20-second bursts, stirring between each, until melted and smooth. Transfer the melted chocolate to a small plastic bag and snip one corner to create a tiny piping hole.
- Dip and decorate: Working one banana at a time, dip the frozen banana into the yogurt mixture, turning to coat evenly. Gently tap the popsicle stick on the side of the glass to remove any excess yogurt.
- Add faces: Place the coated bananas back on the parchment-lined tray. Pipe small dots and ovals with the melted chocolate to make ghostly eyes and mouths.
- Freeze: Place the tray back in the freezer for about 30 minutes, or until the yogurt coating is firm.

Tips from my kitchen
- Use ripe but firm bananas so they hold their shape when dipped and frozen.
- For built in flavor, try using vanilla or honey-flavored Greek yogurt.
- Keep them cold: These pops are best served straight from the freezer for the perfect creamy, frosty bite.
- Add variety: For a fun twist, roll the freshly dipped bananas in shredded coconut before freezing for a “furry ghost” effect!
- Pipe the chocolate ghost faces on before the yogurt freezes and sets.

Conclusion
These Ghostly Banana Pops are a fun, festive, and healthy way to celebrate Halloween.
They come together with just a few ingredients and make a delightfully spooky treat that both kids and adults will love.
