Equipment

  • Small plastic snack bag

Ingredients

  • pretzel sticks
  • ¼ cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Place the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 20-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth and fully melted.
    ¼ cup chocolate chips
  • Transfer the melted chocolate into a small plastic snack bag. Snip a small hole in one corner to use as a piping bag.
  • Pipe a small nickel-sized blob of chocolate onto a sheet of parchment paper.
  • Arrange 8–10 pretzel sticks radiating out from the chocolate blob like the spokes of a wheel. This will form the base of your web. You can use their full length, or break the pretzel sticks in half to make mini webs.

  • Add another blob of chocolate on top of the center to hold the pretzels in place.
  • Pipe circles of chocolate around the pretzel sticks to form a web pattern. You can pipe in a drapey, classic spider web pattern, or pipe in a circular shape over and over to form a web.
  • Repeat steps 3-5 until you have all the spider webs you need.
  • Place the spider webs in the fridge for 10–15 minutes, or until the chocolate hardens completely. Carefully peel from the parchment and serve!
