Salad tips
A fresh salad is more than just tossing ingredients into a bowl—it’s about balancing flavor, texture, and presentation.
Here are some simple tips to help you make the most out of your strawberry spinach and arugula salad:
- Use baby greens for the best texture. Tender baby spinach and baby arugula create a nice proportionate bite to the salad. If you’re using larger leaves, give them a rough chop to keep the salad easy to eat.
- Slice radishes thinly. Radishes add a peppery bite and crisp texture, but thick slices can overpower the salad. Use a sharp knife or mandolin to cut even, thin slices.
- The best way to crumble feta: Start with cold feta. If you’re using block feta packed in brine, drain and gently pat dry. Break off a piece and gently pinch between your fingers to create small, irregular crumbles.
- Use a large bowl. Tossing your salad in a bowl that’s larger than you think you need gives the greens room to move and helps the dressing coat everything evenly.

Conclusion
This strawberry spinach and arugula salad is a vibrant, fresh, and flavorful dish to bring to any summer gathering.
With sweet strawberries, peppery arugula, crisp spinach, and a simple dressing to tie it all together, it’s the kind of salad that feels special enough for entertaining but easy enough for everyday meals.
Whether you’re serving it as a light lunch or a colorful side dish, this salad brings a refreshing burst of flavor to the table.
Give it a try—and don’t be surprised if it becomes a new favorite!
